Apples and Oranges

Last week Apple filed to trademark the phrase "Mobile Me" no iMobile? tsk tsk its all about consistency and they had a great thing with iPod, iTunes. Anyway this is just another indication of Apple getting further into new areas like cell phones where their latest attempt of the ROKR aka the Motorola E398 was something to laugh about. Not sure about the ROKR 2 which wont feature the itunes software but does favor motorola's iradio service instead. I'm curious to see where this goes. This is an iSmart move for Steve though as more content becomes digital and mobile this would be the ticket to extend brand and functionality. Phones already do what iPods do(music, video) limited to memory but still so why not make iPods do what cell phones do.. who said apples and oranges dont make a delicious juice?
