Chatter about stuff..thats important to us

theres allways good email disscusion on different topics with friends Aaron,Rob and Joey on gadgets, new sites, and other stuff...I was looking at an email thread from this today and seeing how it went from me pointing out site http://tvrss.net/ which does syndication for your television using RSS feeds to me trashing the Motorola Q..
Joey just got the nokia e61 which is the phone we've both been looking at for some time and he finally got it and Im next.. he was asking if he could use slingbox through this wifi connection..but no slingbox doesnt have a symbian client which the e61 runs on..they only offers a windows mobile client..
"We have received much enthusiasm regarding support for other mobile platforms, such as Palm, RIM Blackberry, Symbian, J2ME, and BREW. We are currently evaluating such opportunities for SlingPlayer Mobile, and will provide information on our website as soon as available."

They are loosing out.. these companies that don’t think open source os are powerful and broadly used are so wrong.. They are missing the train.. I wouldve paid up to $100 to have a symbian app for my phone! They think windows is the only mobile os out there.. if they only knew how much they crash..Im a big supporter of open source mobile OS such as linux and symbian..and so is joey..and this was a reason why he did not get the motorola Q which may look similar to the e61 but thats about it.. my response
"The moto q is a big piece of crap and overrated.. one of the many reasons why im happy to be moving to nokia and possibly leaving moto behind..nokia understands open source os and geeks like us.. moto is busy still sweating off the “razor” and doing all kinds of variations of the same freaking phone.. They lost my respect.."

yes so on a regular day this is what we sometimes discuss.. I know I feel sorry for our girlfriends sometimes :)
